Blogtember: Personality Test

September 9, 2013

Short and sweet post today. As part of Jenni's Blogtember challenge, I took the Jung typology test. My results were ESJF, and here is a short summary of their analysis:

Extrovert Sensitive Judging Feeling
  • Guardians of birthdays, holidays and traditions. I laughed at this one. I am always complaining every time a holiday tradition changes. I am also a sorority girl and a core reason why I enjoy Catholicism is the heavy presence of tradition.
  • Enjoy being in charge. Yep.
  • Easily wounded. Wear their hearts on their sleeves. Not a surprise. I wrote about my extreme guilt complex a few weeks ago. I wish I was better at letting go of things.
Have you taken the Jung typology test?
What do you think of personality analysis--spot on or worthless generalization?

  1. I'm ISJF - so we're ALMOST the same. This could work out really well for us though - you're the Extrovert, I'm the introvert. But actually, I used to be an E, and only lately I've become more of an I. In fact my it said I only a "slight" preference for Introvert .. I think the big difference is you enjoy being in charge, and I prefer to sit back! #besties :)

  3. I did this earlier and I was an ENFP which scarily described me to a tee!! I'm one of those scary in your face super happy girls, if we had cheerleaders in this country and I wasn't a chubba that would totally be me!!

  4. I am an INFJ, and my husband is an INTJ. We actually first "met" because of the MBTI! He was in the same grad program as my best friend. During the first week of grad school, she and I went out to dinner, and she was telling me about MBTI and said, "There is a guy in my cohort that reminds me of you! He is just like you but different..." I met him a few weeks later, and the rest is history. :)
